SL&C Cooks for Ronald McDonald House of LI!

Jericho, NY May 28, 2009 - On Thursday, May 28th the Satty Team prepared a four course meal for those residing at the Ronald Mc Donald House of Long Island.

The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island is a home-away-from-home, a temporary lodging facility for seriously ill children and their families who must travel to area hospitals for urgently needed medical care.

These families stay at the House while their child is under a physician's care, whether the child is hospitalized or being treated on an out-patient basis. Residents enjoy a home-like setting, the privacy of their own room and, most importantly, the understanding of others who share the same burden of having a seriously ill child.

SL&C Walks & Fundraises for The March of Dimes

Jericho, NY April 27, 2009 - This April, SL&C's Audit Manger Tiffany Gilchrist, a Board Member of the March of Dimes and our entire SL&C Team Members came together to raise over $1,000 and walked in the April March of Dimes NYC walk.

The March of Dimes mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. They carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates work together to give all babies a fighting chance against the threats to their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birth weight.

Jericho, NY November 30, 2009 – Tiffany Gilchrist, CPA recently joined Satty, Levine & Ciacco CPA, P.C. She specializes in auditing services for clients in various industries. Prior to joining SL&C, Ms. Gilchrist was an Audit Manger for a National CPA firm.
